Critical Thinking in Basic Education

The goal of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is to provide a “thorough and efficient system of public education”. (Article III B. s14). Using Standardized test to measure the effectiveness of public education provides a standard of “eligible content” to ensure students “meet or exceed” standardized expectations.

Our Children do not need more test and exams, they need to be provided with skills necessary to help them grow into healthy, productive, self-sufficient adults that positively contribute to the civility of our society.  When we turn the duty of educating our young people into a Corporate Endeavor we fail our children

Basic Education should provide students with competent knowledge and skills necessary for them to sustain self-sufficient adulthood. To do this we must have Basic Education Curriculum that will Challenge Help Encourage Student Success @School & Life. Working together, we can help students succeed.
